This Privacy Policy explains my policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use this website. It informs you of your privacy rights and how the law protects you under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant laws.

I run no analytics and set no tracking cookies of my own. I do not collect or process any personal data on this website unless you voluntarily provide it, either through the project-request form or the live chat. Both are operated by third-party services, described below, and the live chat sets cookies in your browser when you open it.

Personal Data

This website has no backend of my own, so nothing is stored on my servers. If you choose to provide personal information through a third-party service embedded in or linked from this site (the project-request form, or the live chat), the data is stored by that service and its processing is governed by its privacy policy, with me as the recipient. Please refer to those policies before submitting any data.

Live Chat

This site offers an optional live chat, provided by tawk.to Ltd. The chat script loads with the page, but no chat session starts and no chat cookies are set until you open the chat yourself by clicking the chat ball. Nothing opens on its own.

When you open the chat, tawk.to acts as the processor for that conversation. It stores the messages you send, cookies and local storage entries in your browser that keep the conversation attached to you across page loads, and technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you view on this site during the session. If you type your name or email into the chat, that is stored too. I use this only to answer you. It is not sold, and it is not used for advertising or profiling.

tawk.to retains chat transcripts until they are deleted from the tawk.to dashboard. See the tawk.to privacy policy for how they handle the data as a processor. If you would rather not use it, simply do not open the chat: email works just as well.

My website may contain links to third-party websites that handle forms or other services. I am not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. Be sure to review their privacy policies.

Your Data Protection Rights under GDPR

If personal data is collected via third-party services, you have the following rights:

For chat transcripts, email me and I will action the request in the tawk.to dashboard. For anything else, contact the relevant third-party service directly.

Security of Your Data

I operate no servers or databases of my own for this site. Any data you share through the form or the live chat is transmitted over HTTPS and held by the respective provider. Please review the security practices of the services linked from my website.

I may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the "Last Updated" date will be modified accordingly. I advise you to review this Privacy Policy from time to time.
